Delay of game...

Hello friends and family!  Our first blog post takes place in the confines of the Thistle household in Blue Bell, Pa.  You may be wondering why we are blogging and not in transit today.  Well, we had our first little speed bump at the U.S. Airways check-in counter while attempting to check our bags.  To make a long story short we were not allowed to check our bags and proceed to security without "a visa, or a return flight," both of which we do not have or need. This apparently is a terrible misinterpretation of U.S. Airways policy by the U.S. Airways employees at the check-in counter in Philadelphia.  Our dedicated boss at Amizade spent 9 hours communicating with various U.S. Airways representatives to fix the situation.  In just a few hours we should be attempting to board our new flight for today.  Thank you for following our blog and we look forward to posting exciting news for you in the near future.

  1. Oh no! I have had that happen to me when I was leaving England after my study abroad to go to Nepal for the summer. I did not have a visa nor a return ticket and they would not let me in. It was very fraustrating because they said I had to buy a return ticket and I was going to travel to Thailand afterwards. Anyway, finally, 30 minutes before it was supposed to fly, they said I could get on.

I hope you have better luck today and have a safe flight. I am looking forward to hearing more of about your upcoming adventures!

  3. You were luckier than us Richa! Our employer was forced to buy a return flight, only to cancel it later and hopefully be fully refunded.

Dooning, Solomon completed the level the next morning.
